Powerball jackpot powers to $50 million offer!

After no one across the nation could once again match the Powerball plus all winning numbers in last night’s Powerball jackpot, the game has powered to $50 million!

The prize is the second largest jackpot to be offered this year following a $55 million jackpot in January.

While Powerball’s $50 million jackpot goes up for grabs on Thursday, Lotto fever won’t stop there with a further $21 million offered in next weekend’s Saturday Lotto Superdraw.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said the tally of WA Division 1 Lotto winners for the year was at 23 including some big jackpot winners.

“We had two local players take home $15 million each within a month,” Ms Compagnone said.

“We’ve also had four winners take home Division 1 prizes on our Saturday Lotto Superdraw events,” she said,

“Fingers crossed WA can continue to ride the wave of Lotto winners,” she added.

Meanwhile, there are still three unclaimed shares from a winning syndicate ticket holding an $800,000 prize.

The 12 share ticket from last week’s Saturday Lotto draw delivered each winner a $66,000 prize.

The unclaimed shares were sold at:

• Stratton Park News and Gifts
• Jurien Bay Newsagency
• Exmouth Newsagency and Toyworld

When you play with Lotterywest, all of WA wins with over a third of money spent on tickets supporting great community causes across the State.

The five week Powerball jackpot roll and next week’s Superdraw are set to raise a combined $10 million for the WA community.
