Play Online and Mount Hawthorn deliver WA’s latest Lotto wins

Two more big winners from the weekend have made their way onto WA’s exclusive Division 1 Lotto winners list.

The winning tickets, each worth $585,827 from the Saturday Lotto draw, were sold at The Mezz News in Mount Hawthorn and through Lotterywest Play Online.

It’s the second Division 1 winner sold via Play Online in just over a month following a Saturday Lotto ticket worth $659,447 sold in March.

For the Mezz News, it has been just shy of two years since their last Division 1 Lotto winner.

“We’ve been plodding along wishing for more luck and knew at some stage it had to come! Saturday night was the night!” said owner of the store, Denise Matsos.

“We always remind our customers that they need to have a ticket to be in with a chance to win and we’re so excited that someone who bought a ticket from us is one of those lucky winners.”

Denise said she has been spreading the word amongst her staff and customers this morning, even quizzing a few of their regulars to try and find the mystery winner.

“This news has really brought joy to Mount Hawthorn!” she said.

It’s not only WA’s latest Lotto winners that can celebrate their win; every time you play Lotterywest Games approximately a third of what you spend supports the local community.

Agelink Theatre Incorporated, located in Mount Hawthorn, was a recent beneficiary of a $121,000 Lotterywest Grant last month. These funds will be used towards free community events and activities to mark the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death and his significant contribution to arts and culture.

Lotterywest is waiting to hear from WA’s newest Division 1 Lotto winners.
