Lucky wife, lucky store, lucky WA Lotto winner!

The Lucky Charm Warnbro has turned another WA Lotto player into a Division 1 winner over the weekend.

The Saturday Lotto ticket holds a prize of $659,750 and brings WA’s winners tally up to 12 for 2016.

It was only two years ago when The Lucky Charm Warnbro sold its last Division 1 winning ticket to a single man from Cooloongup. The winner collected a $610,368 Saturday Lotto prize in December 2013.

Neil Bowman, who owns the store, couldn’t be happier that another one of their customers has struck it lucky in Lotto.

“We’ve been selling quite a few good Division 2 prizes so knew where it must be leading,” said Neil.

“I’d say my wife is the lucky charm here, she likes to think she sells all the big winners!”

Whilst Neil was hoping the winning ticket would be the one he purchased for himself and his wife, he’s now hoping one of his regular customers is the holder of the ticket.

“It would be nice to see one of our loyal customers win this prize. I’m hoping whoever they are they’ll come in to check their ticket and I’ll see a big smile on their face,” said Neil.

It’s not only WA’s Lotto winners who benefit following a draw, the local community benefits too with $283 million going back to support the WA community last financial year.

Playgroup by the Bay Incorporated located in Golden Bay received the benefits of those who play Lotterywest Games with a $4,466 Lotterywest Grant last year. These funds were used towards toys to support the Golden Bay Playgroup provide fun and educational play experiences for its members.
