There’s only hours to go until the nation’s second largest jackpot for the year is up for grabs– a massive $50 million!
In the lead up Lotterywest is revealing this year’s luckiest Powerball and winning numbers.
To take out tonight’s $50 million prize, players need the six winning numbers from Barrel A, plus the Powerball from Barrel B.
“The most frequently drawn Powerball has been the number two drawn three times. With the winning numbers 23, 26, 30, 31, 34, 36 and 40 each drawn five times,” said Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone.
The multi-million dollar Powerball prize is the result of no-one across the nation being able to take out the Division 1 prize pool for the last five weeks.
Ms Compagnone said it was expected to be a busy day across the State with lots of local punters getting behind the jackpot.
“In WA about half a million tickets will be sold, “she said.
“Jackpot fever will peak this afternoon between 4pm and 5pm when almost 800 tickets will churn out of Lotterywest terminals each minute.”
WA players will have another chance to win big this weekend with the $21 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw.
Tickets are available until 6pm draw day from Lotterywest in-store, online or by downloading the app.
