Equal largest OZ Lotto jackpot for the year offered tonight!

Australia’s equal biggest OZ Lotto jackpot of $40 million will go on offer across Australia tonight.

The jackpot offer is the result of no-one across the nation being able to match the game’s seven winning numbers for the past six weeks.

The only other time this year OZ Lotto reached this amount was in March, when one WA player managed to take home the entire $40 million prize pool.

The winning ticket from March was sold from Harvey Newsagency and claimed by a struggling family from the South West region.

Harvey Newsagency owner Trish Forward said customers were coming from all over the State to visit the store in the hope they might get a share of the Lotto luck.

“We’ve had lots of new customers drop in while they are travelling by just to get a ticket from us. It’s been great for the community too who are really happy that it went to a family that really deserved it,” she said.

WA players have until 6pm today to purchase tickets in tonight’s $40 million OZ Lotto jackpot from Lotterywest retailers in-store, Play Online or by downloading the Lotterywest App.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said it was expected thousands of local players would get behind tonight’s jackpot.

“Our busiest hour will see about 400 tickets churning out of Lotterywest terminals each minute, so we encourage players to get their tickets early,” she said.

When you play Lotterywest Games, the money stays in WA and supports the community through our statutory support to health, sports and the arts and via direct grants. Over the six week jackpot roll, more than $8 million has also been raised to support the WA community.

Meanwhile, Lotterywest is still waiting to hear from WA’s Division 1 Lotto winners from the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.

Both players are each set to collect a $572, 766 prize. The winning tickets were sold from Padbury News and Post and The Lucky Charm South Hedland.
