Western Australia’s incredible run of Lotto luck has continued after the State took out tonight's entire $15 million OZ Lotto jackpot.
The Division 1 winning ticket was sold at Callows Corner Lottery Centre in Busselton and follows two $4.2 million Division 1 windfalls across the weekend.
The win contributes to the State’s fast growing tally of Division 1 Lotto winners which has now reached 20 punters sharing in almost $57 million so far this year.
Owners of Callows Corner Lottery Centre, Elizabeth and Ted Callow, are one of Lotterywest’s longest standing retailers and have owned the store for over 40 years.
“This is major news for the South West! There’s going to be a lot of excited locals across town tomorrow and I expect the good news will spread quickly,” Mrs Callow said.
It was only just over a year ago the Busselton store struck Division 1 Lotto luck – selling a ticket worth $1.1 million which was shared among a syndicate of four friends.
“We’ve had quite a few Division 1 wins over the years, but this is one of our biggest. It’s great news!” Mrs Callow added.
Almost 40,000 other WA players took home an OZ Lotto prize tonight, including two lucky locals who were the only Division 2 winners nationally, collecting just over $91,000 each.
Lotterywest is waiting to hear from WA’s newest multi-millionaire.
Tonight’s winning numbers were 12, 39, 45, 41, 37, 22 and 23.
Local players will have another chance to win big this week when a $15 million Powerball jackpot goes on offer Thursday night.
