Bet your bottom dollar – Australia has two $50 million Lotto winners!

A ticket purchased in New South Wales and another in Victoria have shared in tonight’s record breaking $100 million Division One Powerball prize pool.

Each ticket holds a $50 million prize and joins the tally as the fifth equal largest Lotto win in Australian history.

More than 475,000 Western Australian players picked up a Powerball prize tonight across Divisions Two to Nine.

This included two Division Two tickets, each worth almost $123,000, which were purchased from:
• The Lucky Charm News Noranda
• A Lotterywest membership online

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said Western Australians still had plenty of reasons to celebrate despite missing out on the Division One prize.

“We’ve had a huge few weeks of Lotto jackpots and the support by Western Australian players getting behind this Powerball jackpot run has been incredible,” Ms Compagnone said.

“I’m pleased to say the eight week jackpot roll has raised over $22 million which will go to our local community through Lotterywest grants.”

Tonight’s result concludes a history-making evening, where Powerball reached its highest jackpot in the games 22-year history.

The winning numbers for tonight’s draw were 33, 3, 32, 13, 27, 35 and 31 and the Powerball 3.

Over one million tickets were sold across Western Australia for tonight’s $100 million jackpot, with one in three Australian adults picking up a ticket.

The next chance to win big will be the $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw on 1 September.

Tickets are available from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
