Another Lotto millionaire for WA

Lotto luck is back in the West after a local player won a $1,354,219 Division 1 prize in Saturday night’s draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Woodlands Newsagency & Lotteries and was among three Division 1 prizes won across Australia.

It is the second Division 1 winning ticket sold at the Woodlands store since Gary Wansbrough took over the business two years ago.

Weesi Tan, who works at the store, said the vibe in the store has been fantastic since they learnt of the exciting news.

“It was great to hear someone in WA won Division 1 and that it was our store that sold them the ticket! Our customers are very excited and have been checking their tickets and crossing their fingers it might be them,” said Weesi.

“We’re hoping our good luck will continue next weekend for the $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw, I’m definitely going to buy a ticket.”

Lotterywest is waiting to hear from WA’s newest millionaire.

The Saturday Lotto prize brings WA’s Division 1 winners tally up to 46 for the year with those winners sharing in almost $92 million in prize money.

It’s not just Lotto winners that benefit from Lotterywest Games, with Lotterywest directly distributing money raised from its lottery products back to the WA community to support not-for-profit organisations.

Last financial year Lotterywest returned $281.4 million to support the WA community in both direct grants to not-for-profit organisations and local government authorities plus statutory grants to health, sports and the arts.

$20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw next weekend!

WA players have the chance to add their names to the State’s ever growing tally of Division 1 winners and score a slice of the $20 million Superdraw prize on Saturday 30 July.

Tickets for the draw can be purchased prior to 6pm on 30 July in-store, online at lotterywest.wa.gov.au/play-online or through the Lotterywest App.
