$30 million OZ Lotto jackpot tonight!

There’s only hours left until Australia’s largest jackpot for the year of $30 million goes up for grabs.

No-one across the nation has been able to match OZ Lotto’s seven winning numbers for the past five weeks, resulting in the multi-million dollar Division 1 prize pool offer.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said tonight’s jackpot was set to create a buzz across the State, with ticket sales likely to peak in the afternoon.

“We estimate 285,000 tickets to be sold across WA. During our busiest hour of 4pm and 5pm, about 270 tickets are set to be purchased each minute,” she said.

Ms Compagnone said Lotterywest retailers were already reporting a busy start to the day.

This included Haynes Good News Agency located in Brookdale. The store struck lucky less than two months ago after selling an OZ Lotto ticket worth $10 million in December.

Manager of the Brookdale store Mikaela Thompson said word on the street was they were lucky in Lotto.

“We’ve had lines out the door since the big win, it’s been incredible. We’ve done it once so there’s no reason we can’t do it twice!” she said.

WA players will have another chance to win big in Thursday night’s $15 million Powerball jackpot.

Tickets are available until 6pm draw day in-store, from Play Online or by downloading the Lotterywest App.

When you play Lotterywest games, the money stays in WA. Over the OZ Lotto jackpot roll, almost $5 million has been raised to support the WA community. Tonight’s draw is set to raise a further $2 million.
