$15 million Lotto winner still MIA

As we count down to tonight’s $15 million Powerball jackpot Western Australia’s $15 million Lotto winner from Tuesday night is still unknown.

The lucky ticket was purchased from Callows Corner Lottery Centre in Busselton and took out OZ Lotto’s entire Division 1 prize pool.
Owner of the Busselton store Liz Callow said the win continued to be the talk of the town.

“It’s certainly the news everybody in Busselton is talking about,” Mrs Callow said.

“Everyone is so excited and there’s a real buzz around.”

The $15 million win follows an incredible run of Lotto luck in WA. It comes just over a month after an unemployed Lathlain woman scooped $15 million on OZ Lotto and two $4.2 million Saturday Lotto wins from the weekend.

“We’re now at 20 Division 1 Lotto winners for the year and these punters have shared in almost $57 million,” said Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone.

Ms Compagnone said Lotterywest was hoping to add another lucky local to the fast growing winners tally following tonight’s $15 million Powerball jackpot.

“There’s no better time to be part of the State’s run of Lotto luck,” she said.

“It’s going to be a busy day with around 130 tickets expected to be purchased each minute during our busiest hour of sales today.”

Ms Compagnone said across WA about a quarter of a million tickets were set to be sold.

Tickets for tonight’s $15 million Powerball jackpot are available until 6pm in-store, through Play Online or the app.

When you play with Lotterywest, all of WA wins. Over the last three week Powerball jackpot roll over $2 million has been raised for the WA community. Tonight’s jackpot is set to raise a further $1 million.
