Student Guilds

University, TAFE and other higher education student guilds operating in Western Australia are eligible organisations to apply for grants from Lotterywest.

Lotterywest may support a grant to a student guild where the request is for a charitable or benevolent activity that will broadly benefit the student population (and broader community where possible). Grants will not be supported toward the core organisational need of the guild.

Projects should:

• Be available to the whole student campus population, not only guild members
• Involve either no charge or a low charge
• Provide a service or an activity that is not the responsibility of the education institution and is not available elsewhere
• Not be income generating and
• Not be related to the core organisational need of the guild
