The Lotterywest Grants team were thrilled to receive an email from Jo Baker, Fundraising Manager at Pet Rescue with the subject title Look who you saved with a generous Lotterywest grant providing some great feedback of the impact of Lotterywest grant support on their organisation.
PetRescue received a grant towards furniture and equipment to fit out a new office facility for their animal welfare services. Here’s what Jo had to say:
“Because of your amazing kindness, PetRescue now has it’s very own new home in Parry Street, Northbridge. For the first five years, PetRescue was run from the homes of the three directors, then we joined the team at Spacecubed and our team grew - to the point where it made more financial sense for us to have our own office.
Your generous grant of $10,000 will make a big difference to creating a great space in which the PetRescue team can innovate and expand on our programs that currently rehome an average of 7,000 pets each month! That’s around 230 pets adopted via PetRescue every single day!
And perhaps the most exciting first chapter at our new place is welcoming our very first official office fosters, OC (Office Cat) Mumma, Maple and OC (Office Cat) Bubba, Beans - as part of our national Workplace Pet Foster Program”
