Regional audience development
Everyone should be able to enjoy the experience of attending a show. These grants help Circuitwest regional organisations and Country Arts WA to find creative ways to grow and diversify audiences at regional arts events.

Who can apply?
These grants are available to:
- Country Arts WA; and
- Circuitwest regional organisations.
What can we support?
We support initiatives that promote greater involvement and increase community attendance at regional performing arts events, particularly by groups that have been under represented. We encourage you to explore new creative ways to grow and diversify audiences.
Where audience development can be demonstrated by providing a high cost touring show, consideration will be given to supporting one show per venue.
Generally we do not support proposals that do not have an audience development strategy.
What we look for:
- How you identified the most under-represented audience group(s) and those group(s) that cannot access perorming arts without support
- Which groups in your communtiy will you target, why, and what barriers do they face in attending
- Project planning and strategies to develop these target audiences
- Evaluation of the previous audience development achievements
- Community involvement and links to your local governent cultural plan
Documents we need:
- A completed Lotterywest Grant Application Form
- Your latest Annual Report if you have one, or AGM minutes if you don’t and the most recent audited financial statements
- A copy of your Constitution
- Business and marketing plans
- An audience development plan (including your overall project plan and this year’s audience development strategies)
- A summary of strategies table
- An evaluation of your previous year’s strategy (based on your last audience development plan)
