Ethnic Schools
Valuing Our State’s Heritage
Lotterywest may consider a proposal for an ethnic community school to maintain and develop the language and culture of an ethnic group through the provision of classes, held out of mainstream school hours.
Grants are available towards the cost of capital equipment such as computers, software, desks and chairs etc. Other items may also be considered.
Grants are generally not provided for administrative or recurrent costs or for consumable items.
To apply for an Ethnic Schools grant, applicants must be a financial member of the Ethnic Schools Association of WA Inc.
The assessment of an application will consider the number of children involved in the language and culture program and the capacity of the school to meet its own requirements.
