Valuing Our State's Heritage
Valuing Our State's Heritage Grants support the conservation of important aspects of Western Australia's heritage. This grant area recognises our State's unique natural environment and heritage places, and acknowledges our diverse cultural identities.
These grants may support heritage proposals for:
- The interpretation of objects and places of heritage significance
- The conservation of significant objects and places
- The conservation of our natural environment
- Recording and sharing community histories
- The construction, conservation and interpretation of memorials that have community significance and
- An ethnic community school to maintain and develop the language and culture of an ethnic group through classes held out of mainstream school hours
- A small grant toward capital works, equipment, planning or project costs for heritage related activities other than the above, including for museums or historical societies previously considered under the Cultural Groups area.
