Broad Grant Types
Information Technology Grants aim to assist community organisations improve their efficiency and effectiveness through the use of technology.
Grants are available to help community organisations purchase essential equipment, software and expertise to develop information technology. Grants are available to cover the cost of entry-level business needs (hardware and software) including the development of web sites.

Organisations are encouraged to support their request with an IT plan to effectively utilise technology to improve administration, communication and service delivery. Lotterywest encourages organisations to view IT Planning as an important part of ensuring that they end up with the most appropriate solution, rather than as an exercise necessary to obtain a grant. Priority is given to Information Technology proposals that:
- Enhance the capacity of the organisation to meet their business needs
- Are value for money in terms of quality and after sales technical support and
