Advancing Participation in Community Life

These grants support community Arts Organisations (including Arts organisations that have a funding agreement with State and/or Federal funding bodies) recognising that participation in social, cultural and artistic activities promotes community cohesion.

Our priority is to support proposals that assist people who face barriers to participate in community life or cultural activity.

Organisations must demonstrate:

• Support from the broader community;
• Community involvement in the planning and development;
• How the activity or equipment benefits the community; and
• The activities are accessible to the target group and/or promote broad community participation.  

Arts organisations may also be supported through our other grant areas and are encouraged to consider Additional Grant Opportunities.
