Advancing Participation in Community Life
Advancing Participation in Community Life Grants support initiatives that encourage broad community involvement in social, cultural or recreation activities, particularly for people who face barriers to their participation.
They are designed to support increased participation in community life through a range of initiatives.
These grants may support proposals for:
- Community facilities including playgrounds, skateboard parks, community buildings, interpretive centres and recreation trails.
- Equipment or minor capital works for groups who encourage broad community participation.
- Arts Organisations.
- Community events and celebrations
- Recreation projects for people with a disability.
- Increasing access by regional audiences to the performing arts.
- Projects of Statewide importance which offer significant benefits to Western Australians.
- Active participation in the community through physical activity.
- Other community activities such as camps or day outings.
- Projects by groups to encourage participation in community life.
