Southern suburbs newsagency sells Wednesday Lotto winner

One Western Australian has scored a Division One win worth over $300,000 from last night's Wednesday Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Corfield News in Gosnells.

When Lotterywest spoke to newsagency owner Cameron Sims this morning, he said that the win was long overdue.

"The whole place is already buzzing with everyone trying to work out who the winner might be," he said.

There were three Division One winners around the nation who shared in the $1 million Division One prize pool.

Close to 4500 other Western Australians won prizes in other Divisions in last night's draw.

32 cents in every dollar spent on lottery products in our state is returned to support a large number of charitable groups and community events such as the Darlington Arts Festival, which is being held this weekend. www.darlingtonartsfestival.org.au
