Record $8 million Monday Lotto jackpot up for grabs tonight
WA Lotto players have a chance to add their name to the Division One winners list in tonight's $8 million Monday Lotto jackpot draw.
This is the first time that Monday Lotto has jackpotted to this amount since the game was introduced in 2006.
So far this year, four Western Australians have become at least a million dollars richer in the Monday Lotto game.
One of these winners was a man in his 50's who had recently been made redundant and was about to drive back to his eastern state's home-town, when he found out he had won $3 million. The man's system 7 ticket cost him $3.05.
"Monday Lotto offers the chance to play Lotto during the week, and with this record jackpot amount on offer, we have our fingers crossed that we'll be welcoming some more Western Australians into the winners room this week," said Lotterywest spokesperson Jodi Eastman.
Tickets in tonight's draw are available from Lotterywest retailers around the state until 5pm today.
32 cents in every dollar spent on lottery products in our state is returned to support the WA community, including health, sports, arts and a large number of charitable and community groups.
