$20 million worth of Lotto fortune on offer this Halloween
Forget the tricks, Lotto players around the state have the opportunity to share in a $20 million Division One treat in Saturday night's October Superdraw.
Around 800,000 tickets are expected to be sold to WA Lotto players in the draw. This equates to around 50% of the WA adult population buying a Superdraw ticket.
History shows that Saturday Lotto Superdraws provide a happy hunting ground for WA Division One winners.
"Around this time last year, we had five Western Australians who were able to match the winning numbers and share in the Superdraw millions," said Lotterywest spokesperson Jodi Eastman.
"One of these winners was a self-employed businessman who had experienced the worst week in business in the lead up to the draw; while another was a four person female work syndicate who all agreed that the best thing about their win was that they would all become mortgage-free."
Players have until 5pm Saturday to buy a ticket in the $20 million Superdraw with a range of tickets on offer; from a minimum 4 game ticket at $2.40.
Close to $18 million has been won by WA Superdraw winners so far this year.
Lotterywest expects to raise more than $3.2 million for Western Australian charities and community groups as a result of Saturday's Superdraw sales.
