Carlisle Lotto player scoops entire $4 million national prize pool

A Carlisle Lotto player is set to boost their bank balance by over $4 million after scooping the weekend's entire Saturday Lotto Division One prize pool.

The winning ticket was sold at Archer Street Newsagency in Carlisle, and was the only Division One winning ticket nationwide in the weekend's Saturday Lotto draw.

Archer Street Newsagency owner Lal De Silva said this morning that he and his staff were very excited, but still couldn't quite believe that they had sold the nations only Division One winning ticket in the draw.

"It's been 10 years since we sold our last Division One winning ticket and we're looking forward to the winner coming forward," he said.

Overall, WA Lotto players won over 35,000 prizes across all Divisions in the weekend's Saturday Lotto draw.

$5 million Monday Superdraw tonight

A cool $5 million is up for grabs in tonight's Weekday Superdraw, offering WA Lotto players a chance to add their name to the state's 2009 Division One winners list.

Players can purchase a 4 game ticket in tonight's draw from a small $1.75, with a Slikpik 30, also a popular option at only $13.10.

Tickets are on sale at Lotterywest retailers around the state until 6pm tonight.

32 cents in every dollar spent on Lottery games in WA is directed back to WA health, sports, arts and a large number of community events including the Kings Park Wildflower Festival, which runs until the end of September.
