Our games

• Lotterywest achieved sales of $725 million.
• Increase of 10.8% on 2007/08 

Our contribution to the community

• A record $234 million in Lotterywest funding was approved for distribution to the Western Australian community.
• A record $107.1 million was provided to the State’s health services.
• Sports and Arts each received $13.4 million.
• 1,322 grants totalling $101.6 million were approved for distribution to 1,082 charitable and community groups throughout the State and to the Perth International Arts Festival and the Western Australian film industry, via Screenwest. 

Our players

During 2008/09 lottery players in Western Australia won:

• $406 million in prizes from lottery games;
• $175.1 million in Division One Lotto prizes 
• 85 Division One prizes, including 37 prizes in excess of $1m.

Our support to the WA business community

• Lotterywest’s Retailers - mainly small Western Australian businesses - received commissions totalling $59.5 million.
